Our values are simple:\nAct to deliver.\n\nDisrupt to grow.\n\nTeam up to win.\n\nThe project and the team\nYou will join the team behind a leading network source-of-truth (NSoT) platform, used by thousands of organizations - from fast-growing tech companies to Fortune 500 enterprises - to model, document, and automate their network infrastructure.\nCodiLime engineers work within the platform's Observability team, which builds the software responsible for network discovery and reconciliation (keeping the platform's documented network state in sync with what is actually discovered on the network), network observability and monitoring, as well as the agents and fleet management that collect data from customer networks. The team develops both closed-source and open-source components, used by the product's large community. Observability is a key part of network automation: it keeps the platform's view of the network accurate and up to date.\nThe platform is built AI-first, with its own Claude Code agent skills and MCP server, and that mindset carries over to how the team works: AI-assisted development is actively cultivated day to day to help the team move fast and consistently land high-quality results.\nThe scale offering keeps growing, the team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who can strengthen coverage in US time zones.\nTechnology stack:\nProgramming languages: Go (primary language), Python (tests responsible for:\nDesigning and building Go services for network discovery and reconciliation, network observability and monitoring, and agents and fleet management\n\nDesigning multi-tenant ingestion pipelines for network device data, with clear delivery guarantees, idempotency and predictable behavior under load\n\nCollecting device identity and state from network devices using protocols such as SNMP, gNMI and CLI\n\nBuilding and evolving gRPC and Connect RPC APIs defined in Protobuf, and working with PostgreSQL, Redis and RabbitMQ\n\nInstrumenting services with OpenTelemetry and keeping metrics clean and meaningful\n\nExploring and applying AI-assisted engineering practices - such as interactive, Claude Code-driven testing flows - to make development and testing faster and more reliable\n\nWriting technical specifications with diagrams and contributing to architecture and design decisions\n\nSupporting customers, production issues and on-call in US time zones\n\nWriting clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participating in code reviews\n\nDo we have a match?\nAs a Senior Software Engineer, you must meet the following criteria:\n5+ years of professional software engineering experience\n\nStrong professional experience with Go\n\nExperience with gRPC and/or Connect RPC APIs defined in Protobuf\n\nExperience with PostgreSQL (including migrations), Redis and RabbitMQ\n\nExperience with multi-tenant services and OAuth2 / OIDC\n\nDeep knowledge of observability and instrumentation, including OpenTelemetry\n\nFluency and experience with Docker, Docker Compose\n\nExperience with Kubernetes\n\nExperience with event-driven systems, including at-least-once delivery and idempotent consumers\n\nSolid understanding of networking: devices, configuration, protocols and layers\n\nCI/CD experience (ideally GitHub Actions)\n\nHands-on, everyday use of AI coding tools (ideally Claude Code)\n\nAvailability to work in US time zones (ideally Eastern
