Our values are simple:\nAct to deliver.\n\nDisrupt to grow.\n\nTeam up to win.\n\nThe project and the team\nYou will join the team behind a leading network source-of-truth (NSoT) platform, used by thousands of organizations - from fast-growing tech companies to Fortune 500 enterprises - to model, document, and automate their network infrastructure.\nCodiLime engineers work within the platform's Assurance & Integrations area, building and extending the integrations that connect the platform to third-party network systems and controllers - such as Cisco Meraki, VMware vCenter, Juniper Mist, and Infoblox. These integrations run as lightweight discovery agents that securely connect to a customer's infrastructure, continuously identifying devices, interfaces, and the relationships between them. The discovered data is then delivered through the platform's declarative data ingestion API.\nThe platform is built AI-first, with its own Claude Code agent skills and MCP server, and that mindset carries over to how the team works: AI-assisted development is actively cultivated day to day to help the team move fast and consistently land high-quality results.\nThe scale is significant - some of the platform's largest customers manage hundreds of thousands of devices, each with multiple interfaces, across globally distributed environments. As the integration ecosystem keeps expanding to new vendors and use cases, the team is growing, and we're looking for another Senior Software Engineer to help build what's next.\nTechnology stack:\nSmall, cross-functional team of software engineers who share strong ownership of code quality (unit and E2E tests)\n\nAI tools are part of the daily workflow, including AI-assisted test writing and internal data/feed management tooling\n\nThis is a backend-focused role\n\nStartup-like vibe: proactive, ownership-driven, fast-paced\n\nDistributed team across Europe and US\n\nWe work on multiple interesting projects at a time, so it may happen that we’ll invite you to an interview for another project if we see that your competencies and profile are well suited for it.\nYour role\nAs a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:\nDesigning, building, and maintaining integrations that connect the platform to third-party network systems and controllers\n\nDeveloping discovery agents/workers that securely connect to customer infrastructure and extract device, interface, and topology data\n\nBuilding and maintaining the services and APIs that deliver discovered data into the platform's declarative ingestion layer\n\nWriting and maintaining unit tests (pytest) and contributing to E2E test automation (Playwright, running in Docker Compose via CI)\n\nExploring Engineer, you must meet the following criteria:\nStrong professional experience with Python\n\nHands-on, everyday use of AI coding tools (ideally Claude Code) in your engineering workflow\n\nExperience building and maintaining integrations or APIs (REST)\n\nExperience with gRPC is a strong plus\n\nSolid unit testing experience, ideally with pytest\n\nFluency and experience with Docker, Docker Compose\n\nExperience with Kubernetes\n\nWorking understanding of core networking concepts: IP vs MAC, VLANs, VRFs, DNS, BGP, ACLs\n\nExperience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/SQL)\n\nComfortable in a startup-like, fast-paced, proactive environment\n\nExperience with monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana and/or Prometheus)\n\nCI/CD experience (ideally GitHub Actions)\n\nExperience with Cloud computing (Ideally AWS, e.g. EC2, S3, EKS)\n\nGood knowledge of English (minimum C1 level)\n\nBeyond the criteria above, we would appreciate the following
