our Maintenance team as a Senior Maintenance Planner at our Haverhill manufacturing site to play a key role in coordinating and controlling maintenance planning and scheduling activities.\nThe Senior Maintenance Planner is responsible for coordinating and controlling maintenance planning activities to ensure the efficient execution of preventative and reactive maintenance across the site.\nThe role ensures that maintenance resources, materials, and schedules are aligned to meet operational requirements while maintaining compliance with cGMP standards, CMMS processes, and company procedures.\nThe Senior Maintenance Planner acts as the key link between Maintenance, Operations, and Contractors to ensure maintenance work is planned, documented, executed, and recorded accurately.\nYour Responsibilities\nYou will:\nMaintenance Planning and Scheduling\nManage short-term and medium-term maintenance planning activities (0-4 months), ensuring maintenance tasks and resources are effectively aligned.\n\nDevelop, maintain, and communicate weekly maintenance schedules.\n\nCoordinate preventative maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.\n\nCoordinate reactive maintenance activities arising from equipment breakdowns and system failures.\n\nReview and reschedule missed maintenance tasks to ensure completion and compliance with maintenance requirements.\n\nMonitor maintenance backlog and prioritise work according to business needs and equipment criticality.\n\nEnsure required labour, parts, tools, and contractor resources are available to support planned maintenance activities.\n\nWeekly Maintenance Coordination\nChair the weekly maintenance planning meeting to review upcoming maintenance activities and priorities.\n\nProduce and communicate the agreed weekly maintenance plan.\n\nDeliver the arranged weekly maintenance plan to the maintenance team.\n\nTrack progress of planned activities and provide updates on schedule adherence and completion status.\n\nLiaise with Operations, Maintenance, and external contractors to coordinate planned work.\n\nCMMS System Administration and Support\nMaintain and manage maintenance activities within the validated CMMS system.\n\nRaise Purchase Orders (POs) resulting from equipment failures, maintenance requirements, and project activities.\n\nProcess Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and contractor invoices in SAP, ensuring timely and accurate completion.\n\nConduct CMMS training for maintenance and operational users as required.\n\nProvide first-line CMMS support and guidance to users.\n\nCompliance and Documentation\nEnsure full compliance with cGMP documentation requirements and site procedures.\n\nConduct weekly documentation dip checks to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance of maintenance records.\n\nMaintain accurate maintenance histories and records within CMMS.\n\nEnsure all planned and completed work is documented and auditable.\n\nSupport internal and external audits relating to maintenance systems and documentation.\n\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to improve maintenance planning, scheduling, and asset reliability.\n\nAssist with the development of maintenance KPIs and reporting metrics.\n\nPromote best practice in maintenance planning and asset management.\n\nKey Skills and competencies\nEssential\nExperience within a maintenance department as a technician and planner.\n\nWorking knowledge of preventative and reactive maintenance processes.\n\nProven experience using a CMMS systems.\n\nStrong organisational and planning skills.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n\n· Ability to adjust priorities in response to business requirements and changing operational demands, maintaining a flexible and proactive approach.\nEngineering or technical qualification.\n\nDesirable\nExperience within a pharmaceutical, FMCG, food manufacturing, or regulated environment.\n\nUnderstanding of cGMP requirements and controlled documentation practices.\n\nKnowledge of maintenance reliability principles and asset management systems.\n\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nPlanned maintenance schedule compliance.\n\nPreventative maintenance completion rate.\n\nMaintenance backlog performance.\n\nCMMS data accuracy.\n\nPurchase requisition and PO processing accuracy.\n\nTimely processing of GRNs and
