Senior Software Consultant (Internal) - Brazil

We are looking for a Senior Software Consultant who shares our values of pragmatism, professionalism, and transparency to join our team in Brazil. You will use your expertise both with our clients and internally, helping to shape the future of Codurance.

As a Senior Software Consultant, you will combine strategic vision with hands-on technical delivery, guiding clients and engineering teams to turn complex business challenges into high-impact, sustainable software solutions.

We support our clients in many different ways, giving you the opportunity to work across a broad range of client and internal projects. You might join a Codurance delivery team to build a greenfield product for a startup or help develop a mission-critical system for a large enterprise.

You may also work as an embedded craftsperson within a client’s existing development team, delivering software while helping them strengthen their engineering practices and build better, more sustainable software independently.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Drive software design using DDD and Clean/Hexagonal Architecture principles.
• Promote Clean Code, SOLID principles, and strong engineering practices.
• Define and implement testing strategies, including TDD and BDD.
• Support automated testing initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Contribute to DevOps, cloud, and software quality assurance activities.
• Work collaboratively with clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Essential Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in software development and architecture. [ 12+ years ]
• Experience working in Agile, consulting, and software quality-focused environments.
• Strong hands-on experience developing modern frontend applications with React.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and developing backend services and APIs using .NET and Node.js.
• Experience working with AWS or Azure.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools to generate, refactor, debug, and test production code, with the ability to critically review and validate AI-generated outputs.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing with Angular.
• Experience developing with Kotlin.
• Fluent or advanced English communication skills.
• Previous experience working specifically within Software Quality Assurance (SQA).

Location and Working Model

• Based in São Paulo or within a reasonable commuting distance.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model.
