Join our Happeners!\n Mission\nJoin the Romania-based Coface Audit Team and contribute to audit assignments across the entire Coface Group, in line with the multi-year audit plan and in compliance with Group audit policies and methodology.\nYour Responsibilities\nAs part of an audit mission team of 2-5 international auditors, under the guidance of a Head of Mission, you will:\nDevelop audit programs by defining engagement objectives, audit scope, and risk priorities.\nEvaluate key audit areas including internal control design and effectiveness, compliance with Group policies, and progress on prior recommendations.\nExecute risk-based audits in collaboration with international teams.\nPrepare audit reports that clearly articulate findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.\nIdentify control gaps and propose improvements to strengthen processes, systems, and governance.\nContribute to audit quality by ensuring consistency with Group standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport methodology enhancements, including integrated audits and digitalization of audit activities.\nParticipate in special projects, such as process reviews or ad-hoc assignments.\n What You Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.\n3-5 years of experience in internal audit, financial audit, or financial controlling.\nExperience in general industry (credit insurance experience is a plus, not a requirement).\nStrong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management principles, and audit standards (IIA Standards, COSO).\nExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build constructive relationships at all levels.\nStrong communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.\nProficiency in MS Office; experience with audit tools (e.g., AuditBoard, TeamMate) is a plus.\nWillingness to travel internationally (missions typically require 1-2-week trips).\n Value Added for You\nThis role offers the opportunity to develop:\nBroad exposure to the business lines of a global organization.\nExperience within a culturally diverse international team.\nA structured audit career path, with potential progression to Deputy Head of Mission, Head of Mission, or Regional Audit Manager.\nWhat You’ll Find at Coface Romania\nCareer growth opportunities locally and internationally, gaining expertise in business information, risk management, finance, and operational decision-making.\nSupportive culture that values initiative, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nFlexible work options, including hybrid work arrangements and morning schedule flexibility.\nFlexible benefits package, within a monthly allocated budget; gift tickets for Christmas and Easter; vacation vouchers; medical subscription; Bookster; Speexx.\nPerformance bonus granted based on individual and team results.\nContinuous learning opportunities, including regular professional training and courses.\nJoin Us\nAt Coface Romania, we value curiosity, drive, and innovation.
