Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and organizational security requirements.\n\n- Manage database patching, upgrades, lifecycle activities, and end-of-life transitions.\n\n- Monitor and optimize database performance across diverse enterprise workloads.\n\n- Design and implement automation for database provisioning, monitoring, maintenance, and operational processes.\n\n- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible.\n\n- Build and maintain CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.\n\n- Validate and certify database environments supporting business-critical applications.\n\n- Implement and maintain high-availability and disaster-recovery strategies.\n\n- Provide incident and problem management support for database-related issues.\n\n- Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.\n\n- Conduct capacity planning, resource forecasting, and scalability assessments.\n\n- Drive operational excellence and reduce manual intervention through automation and standardized processes.\n\n- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to deliver reliable database services.\n\nRequired Skills:\n\n- Strong experience in enterprise database administration and platform engineering.\n\n- Hands-on experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server in production environments.\n\n- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and cloud database services.\n\n- Experience with AWS and Azure database platforms.\n\n- Knowledge of database security, compliance, encryption, auditing, and access controls.\n\n- Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery concepts.\n\n- Experience with database performance monitoring and tuning.\n\n- Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.\n\n- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash/Shell, or PowerShell.\n\n- Experience with CI/CD and automation tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.\n\n- Good understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.\n\n- Strong incident management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.\n\nPreferred Profile:\n\n- Experience managing enterprise-scale database platforms across multi-cloud environments.\n\n- Exposure to PaaS databases such as Cosmos DB, SQL Managed Instance, RDS Aurora, and MongoDB.\n\n- Experience building self-service database platforms for application teams.\n\n- Strong focus on security, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.\n\n- Ability to work effectively with
