You will help strengthen our fire protection engineering team and work closely with other internal disciplines to design a variety of local projects.\nWe are seeking a professional to perform Fire Protection consulting services for internal and external clients. Technical skills will include but not limited to: automatic suppression system design; fire detection, alarm and mass notification system design; code analysis; egress analysis; fire resistant construction analysis; smoke control analysis; as well as general fire protection and life safety concepts and research.\n Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in engineering from accredited college or university (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Fire Protection)\nFire Protection License by examination issued by any state in the United States\nEIT and P.E. are required\nMinimum of five years of experience dedicated in the fire protection profession\nA strong desire to help support, build, and advance Coffman’s fire protection engineering department\nPassion for great client experiences and design\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively with others\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nMotivation to learn the latest technologies and practices to enhance your professional growth\nAbility to obtain a U.S. Military Security Clearance\nAbility to work with AutoCAD is required and the ability to work with REVIT is desired\nExpected annual salary of $90,000 - $120,000.\nThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.\n Why Work at Coffman?\nYou could choose to work anywhere, so why work at Coffman Engineers?
