The successful individual will have an interest in the design of HVAC, piping and plumbing systems for hospitals, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. In addition, the individual should be comfortable consulting architectural practices and have a desire to work on a multi-discipline engineering team.\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS\nApproximate Base Salary - $82,000 - $97,000 based on experience\nPaid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate\nCompetitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance\nHybrid Work Schedule (subject to change)\n401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution\n ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS\nBS in Mechanical engineering\nEIT/PE license in Mechanical Engineering\nMinimum of 1 year of related experience in HVAC or plumbing design\nExperience with AutoCAD and Revit\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nFamiliarity with relevant codes: mechanical, energy, plumbing\nFamiliarity with both HVAC and Plumbing systems\nExperience with load calculation software such as Trace, HAP, etc.\nExperience with energy modeling software (EnergyPro, etc.)\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\nMust be a self-starter who is able to see the big picture and connect the vision of the company with his/her job, be persistent, and follow through in a consistent manner.\nPassionate about the client or pursuit and takes ownership of his/her work.\nAble to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).\nPossess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).\nMaintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.\nProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe InDesign software preferred. Must understand database concepts.
