The ideal candidate will be a student who wishes to increase their knowledge of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures, learn about computer analysis software systems, and work in a professional fast-paced environment.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nWork semi-independently.\nPossess basic level computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and a working knowledge of computer-aided drafting.\nPerform other duties as may be assigned.\n KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\nAble to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).\nPossess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).\nExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred.\nPositive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE\nMinimum 3 years of required courses completed towards an undergraduate degree in architectural engineering, structural engineering, or civil engineering with an emphasis on structures.\nExpected hourly rate: $25.00 to $30.00 (Junior or Senior in Undergraduate Program)\nExpected hourly rate: $30.00 to $35.00 (First-year Graduate in Master’s Program)\nActual hourly rate will depend on years of education and experience.\nThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.\n Why You Want To Work Here\nCoffman Engineers is a company that truly focuses on its employees.
