Senior Project Manager - SCRUM Master

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with a strong background in SCRUM methodologies and extensive experience in managing multiple teams within the Commercial Lines Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading agile project teams, ensuring timely delivery of projects, and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate SCRUM ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Manage multiple project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks proactively.
• Implement best practices in agile project management and SCRUM methodologies.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to team members on agile principles and practices.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across teams and departments.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience as a SCRUM Master with a strong understanding of SCRUM methodologies.
• Extensive knowledge of Commercial Lines P&C Insurance processes and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Proficient in project management tools and software.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification as a SCRUM Master (CSM or equivalent).
• Experience with other agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Lean).
• Familiarity with insurance industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on SCRUM and P&C Insurance.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery and team management.
