unit and integration tests using JUnit and related testing frameworks.\nConduct code reviews and ensure compliance with engineering, security, testing, and documentation standards.\nWork closely with architects, product owners, business analysts, developers, testers, and operational teams.\nTroubleshoot application and integration issues across development, testing, and production environments.\nSupport CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.\nMonitor integration services, Kafka workloads, system performance, logs, and alerts.\nInvestigate production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.\nProduce and maintain technical designs, support documentation, and operational procedures.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, estimation, and delivery planning.\nRequired Technical Skills\nStrong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.\nStrong understanding of microservices and integration design patterns.\nAI Toolchain:�Familiarity with secure AI coding assistants, automated guardrails, and LLM tool integration patterns.\nAgentic Software development using Codex to build Spring Boot backends with experience generating regression tests in Harness and with good understanding of Renovate platform.\nPractical experience designing and consuming REST APIs.\nHands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, offsets, consumer groups, retries, and dead-letter queues.\nExperience with JUnit, unit testing, integration testing, and mocking frameworks.\nUnderstanding of event-driven architecture, asynchronous processing, and idempotent consumer design.\nExperience with Git, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.\nStrong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause-analysis skills.\nExperience supporting applications in production environments.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nDesirable Skills\nExperience with cloud platforms and containerised applications.\nKnowledge of observability and monitoring tools.\nUnderstanding of API security, authentication, authorisation, and data protection.\nExperience with schema management and event-schema evolution.\nPrevious experience working with airline, travel, or other large enterprise platforms.\nFamiliarity
