Our team is small and talent-dense, consisting of competitive programmers, former founders (including our founder who previously co-founded a unicorn), and AI researchers from top institutions who have created some of the most popular open-source code generation projects.\nAbout the role:\nAs an Accounting Manager, you will maintain our financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, support payroll and procurement processes, and assist with various audits. You will take ownership of core accounting workstreams and contribute to the ongoing development of our finance practices as the company scales. This role requires strong technical accounting skills and experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.\nWhat you’ll do:\nOwn key areas of the month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations, and deliver accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP\n\nExecute day-to-day accounting operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing (A/R & subscriptions), general ledger, and payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.\n\nOwn billing, invoicing, and collections for our enterprise customers.\n\nSupport annual financial audits, tax filings, and various other audits (e.g., financial, tax, workers comp) by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and responding to auditor requests.\n\nManage spend and AP by tracking and classifying our costs. Run accounts payable, vendor onboarding, and expense management.\n\nMaintain payroll accuracy, track equity records in Carta, and support stock-based compensation expense, reconciled to board approvals and 409A valuations.\n\nProduce the monthly reporting package, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, burn, and key metrics.
