Each employee is a part of what makes us unique on the market: agile and dedicated.\nTime Type:\nRegularJob Description :\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nThe Windows Systems Administrator is responsible for the continuous availability, performance, and security of corporate IT Windows servers, virtualization platforms, and supporting infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This role balances day-to-day operational support with proactive maintenance to uphold strict service level agreements (SLAs), optimize user performance, and sustain a resilient 24/7 enterprise infrastructure.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAdministers the company’s IT Windows servers and virtualization hosts across all physical and cloud locations.\nAdministers the ongoing operation of the company’s VDI infrastructure.\nInstall, administer, and troubleshoot Windows, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP servers.\nMaintain, administer, and troubleshoot storage infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and backup software.\nInstall, administer, troubleshoot, and maintain IT server infrastructure monitoring platforms.\nBuild and maintain automation scripts for provisioning, operations, and system optimization.\nPerform capacity planning, server tuning, and optimization to ensure maximum uptime in accordance with established SLAs.\nApply security standards, ensuring correct patching levels and configurations to adhere to system patch management policies.\nMaintain and adhere to the disaster recovery plan for the corporate Windows infrastructure.\nImplement and monitor daily backup and recovery operations using enterprise backup software.\nMonitor and respond to hardware and software alarms using appropriate diagnostic tools.\nProvide system and application support to the Operations and Application Development teams.\nSupport IT operations, including incident, change, and problem management processes.\nDeliver excellent service to internal and external stakeholders to fulfill corporate objectives.\nFulfill additional duties and project tasks as assigned.\nACADEMIC TRAINING:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution (or equivalent combination of education, relevant professional training, and hands-on experience).\nSKILLS & EXPERTISE (must have):\n5+ years experience in IT Infrastructure Operations with a min of 3 years of experience in a Systems Administration position and with public clouds (GCP, Azure, AWS, OCI) \nAdvanced proficiency in the installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of the Windows server ecosystem, including but not limited to:Windows Server Base OS\nWindows Features & Functions\nActive Directory & LDAP\nDNS & DHCP\n\n Advanced proficiency with federated identity systems via Active Directory, LDAP, and cloud providers (OKTA, AAD, Google Workspace).\nExperience with platforms such as VMware and Proxmox, alongside enterprise storage/backup solutions (Veeam, Rubrik, Acronis, Netapp, Isilon, Data Domain)\nProven background in OS hardening, auditing, High Availability (HA) cluster configuration, and Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises.\nExperienced in incident management, monitoring/telemetry tooling, process documentation, and handling unplanned outages. Must be available for 24x7 rotational on-call duties.\nAbility to work in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment.\nStrong analytical skills, customer/business orientation, and excellent written and spoken English (French bilingualism is a bonus).\n SKILLS & EXPERTISE (nice to have):\nExperience with Linux servers and LDAP/Active Directory (RHEL-based distributions preferred).\nThe ability to troubleshoot Linux servers is highly valued.\nComprehensive understanding of key technological concepts such as IT architecture, Cloud technologies, applications, network infrastructure, and security is strongly preferred\nExperience with automation technologies and advanced scripting (Powershell, Python, BASH, Ansible, Git, Bitbucket) highly valued.\nExperience operating in agile environment using Jira (scrum/kanban/mvp) \nProcess definition and improvement expertise \nContainerization experience (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes (GKE))\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND VISUAL ACUITY:\nMust lift and carry server equipment and boxes up to 20lbs.\nYou’ll benefit from:\n· Flexibility: Yes, we think that what you do matters.
