continued growth.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nFinancial Leadership\nDirect all accounting and financial operations.\nPrepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.\nManage the month-end and year-end close process.\nAnalyze financial performance and present results to executive leadership.\nEstablish and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.\nCoordinate annual audits and tax preparation.\nConstruction Accounting\nOversee job costing and project accounting.\nPrepare and review Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules.\nMonitor project profitability, change orders, retainage, and committed costs.\nPartner with Project Managers to review budgets, forecasts, and cost variances.\nCash Management\nManage company cash flow and working capital.\nPrepare rolling cash flow forecasts.\nOversee banking relationships, credit facilities, and financing.\nMonitor accounts receivable, collections, and accounts payable.\nLeadership & Administration\nSupervise accounting, payroll, and administrative personnel.\nDevelop standardized financial and administrative processes across all business units.\nEvaluate and implement improvements to accounting and HR systems.\nManage relationships with auditors, banks, bonding companies, insurance providers, legal counsel, and outside consultants.\nParticipate in strategic planning and operational decision-making as a member of the leadership team.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\nQuickbooks experience\nMinimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience.\nAt least 2 years of construction accounting experience.\nExperience with job costing, WIP reporting, and project accounting.\nExperience managing payroll and human resources.\nStrong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting
