The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing code, integrating vendor platforms, designing automation solutions, troubleshooting production issues, and working directly with business stakeholders to solve operational challenges.\nThe position supports strategic initiatives across Operations, Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Treasury Management, Embedded Finance, Compliance, BSA/AML, Fraud, Finance, and Information Technology. The successful candidate will help advance the Bank's digital transformation by delivering secure, scalable, supportable, and well-documented solutions.\nRequirements\nResponsibilities and Duties\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain custom business applications and internal tools.\nBuild web-based portals, dashboards, reporting platforms, backend services, APIs, and data-processing solutions.\nParticipate in requirements gathering, solution design, testing, release management, documentation, and ongoing support throughout the software development lifecycle.\nApply reusable design patterns, coding standards, peer review, source control, and secure development practices.\nDesign and implement integrations between internal banking systems, third-party applications, fintech platforms, and cloud services.\nBuild and maintain REST, SOAP, SFTP, file-based, batch, and event-driven integrations.\nDevelop reusable integration services, middleware components, data mappings, validation controls, monitoring, and error-handling processes.\nTroubleshoot production integration failures, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate remediation with vendors and internal teams.\nDesign, develop, document, secure, test, and maintain enterprise APIs.\nSupport integrations involving core banking, digital banking, treasury management, CRM, fraud, BSA/AML, payment, data, and fintech platforms.\nCollaborate with vendors and business stakeholders to define technical requirements, interface specifications, authentication methods, data contracts, and testing plans.\nSupport partner onboarding and connectivity while maintaining appropriate access controls, logging, resiliency, and operational documentation.\nAnalyze business processes and identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and strengthen operational controls.\nBuild workflow automations using Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, PowerShell, scheduled processes, and custom services.\nCreate sustainable automation solutions with documented ownership, exception handling, monitoring, testing, and support procedures.\nMeasure and communicate automation outcomes, including cycle-time reduction, control improvements, and operational efficiency.\nDevelop operational reports, dashboards, data extracts, transformation processes, and system-to-system data flows.\nPartner with business teams to define meaningful metrics, data quality checks, reconciliation requirements, and reporting needs.\nSupport enterprise data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and business intelligence initiatives.\nEnsure data handling aligns with Bank security, privacy, retention, and access requirements.\nServe as a trusted technical advisor to business and technology stakeholders.\nLead technical workstreams for application implementations, integrations, modernization efforts, and vendor-delivered solutions.\nEvaluate new technologies and provide practical recommendations based on security, supportability, cost, scalability, and business value.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to team members while remaining a hands-on individual contributor.\nCreate and maintain architecture diagrams, support runbooks, interface inventories, troubleshooting guides, and implementation documentation.\nFollow secure coding, secrets management, least-privilege access, vulnerability management, logging, change management, and deployment standards.\nParticipate in architecture reviews, risk assessments, vendor evaluations, testing, audit support, and regulatory examinations as needed.\nEnsure solutions align with Bank information security policies, data governance requirements, business continuity expectations, and applicable regulatory obligations.\nPromptly identify, document, escalate, and remediate application and integration risks.\nEnsures BSA compliance by reading and being familiar with the BSA/AML program/policy; following all BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures; and completing all BSA/AML/OFAC related online courses.\nAll other tasks, responsibilities, or duties, as directed by management.\nQualifications and Skills\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nFive or more years of progressive experience in software development, application engineering, systems integration, API development, or a closely related discipline.\nHands-on experience supporting enterprise applications and production integrations.\nDemonstrated ability to translate business and control requirements into reliable technical solutions.\nExperience working within formal change management, software development lifecycle, testing, and documentation processes.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.\nBanking, financial services, fintech, or another highly regulated industry.\nCore banking, digital banking, treasury management, loan origination, CRM, fraud detection, BSA/AML, and enterprise reporting platforms.\nACH, wire transfer, real-time payments, FedNow, card processing, payment operations, or related financial integrations.\nFintech and Embedded Finance partner integrations, technical onboarding, API connectivity, and vendor coordination.\nPreferred Technical Experience\nApplication Development\nC#, .NET/.NET Core, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, web services, application support\nData\nMicrosoft SQL Server, T-SQL, ETL, data integration, reconciliation, data quality, data
