They support the Health and Wellness Director by assisting in scheduling, supervising staff, and ensuring that systems are in place to provide quality assisted living services in all resident care areas. Duties include problem-solving resident concerns and coordinating care with the team and external providers. Additionally, they help with medication administration and direct resident care when necessary.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nSchedule and assign caregiving and medication technician shifts to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with staffing guidelines and department allowances.\nParticipate in the recruitment and interview process for new care team members.\nSupervise, train, and support care team members, promoting teamwork and adherence to care standards.\nSupervise the medication room and orders, collaborating with medication technicians and caregivers.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, including care plans, incident reports, and medical documentation.\nCoordinate care planning with home health agencies on-site, working within community and company policies.\nCoordinate admissions with the sales team, including supervising move-ins.\nComplete family/resident admission interviews.\nFacilitate effective communication among residents, their families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery. \nAddress residents’ special needs, requests, and complaints.\nAssist with medication administration and provide direct care to residents as needed.\nUnderstand the community's care regulations, as well as state-specific regulations.\nRequirements\nCANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS\nEducation and Certifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nMust have a valid state medication administration license (such as CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP) or meet the state requirements for medication administration in assisted living.\nAn LPN/LVN nursing license is a plus.\nCurrent First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.\nExperience, Competencies, and Skills:\nAt least two (2) years of experience administering medications and providing care in a professional caregiving setting is required.\nAt least one (1) year of relevant supervisory experience, including staff scheduling, is preferred. \nExcellent attention to detail and high integrity.\nExcellent communication skills and teamwork mindset.\nStrong leadership and team management skills.\nA positive attitude, empathy, patience, and a commitment to treating our residents with dignity and respect.\nWillingness to participate in weekend rotation.\nSalary
