Most of our current work is in Angular and Flutter, and we maintain a large shared library that is critical to the business.\nAs a Principal Engineer, you will be a highly experienced technical contributor, helping solve complex engineering challenges and design scalable, maintainable solutions. In addition to hands-on development, you will contribute to architectural discussions, mentor other engineers, and help promote engineering best practices across the organization.\nAreas of Responsibility\nOwn and evolve shared frontend libraries, frameworks, and internal tooling used across multiple product teams.\nContribute to architectural improvements and the long-term technical direction of our frontend platform.\nDesign scalable, maintainable, and reusable solutions that can be adopted across products.\nBuild high-quality production code.\nEvaluate new technologies and help identify the right solutions for technical challenges.\nLeverage AI technologies and developer tooling to accelerate frontend development, improve code quality, and increase the scalability of engineering teams.\nPromote engineering best practices with a focus on performance, reliability, maintainability, and scalability.\nMentor engineers and provide technical guidance when needed.\nShare knowledge through design reviews, technical presentations, and other learning opportunities.\nObjective Requirements Related to the Position\n10+ years of experience in software engineering.\nStrong experience building large-scale frontend applications using modern frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, or Flutter.\nSolid Angular knowledge or willingness to develop deep expertise quickly, as it is currently our primary frontend technology.\nStrong knowledge of TypeScript and modern frontend development practices.\nStrong understanding of API integration, backend systems, and software engineering best practices.\nStrong technical judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead technical discussions and make pragmatic decisions.\nExperience mentoring engineers and helping raise engineering standards.\nFluency in English.\nNice to Have\nExperience with Flutter, React, or Avalonia.\nExperience designing and maintaining component libraries, design systems, or shared platform code.\nExperience leading technology modernization or migration efforts.\nExperience working in platform teams or multi-product environments.\n.NET exposure and understanding of full-stack systems.\nExperience contributing to engineering standards and technical best practices across teams.\nConference presentations, technical community involvement, open-source contributions, or other forms of technical leadership.\nLocation: Rákóczi út 1-3, 1088.
