This role is ideal for a proactive paralegal who enjoys working closely with the business and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced in-house environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCorporate, Commercial and Litigation Support\nAssist with the drafting, review and management of commercial contracts (e.g. NDAs, supplier agreements, customer contracts).\nSupport corporate governance matters, including board and shareholder documentation, statutory filings, and maintenance of corporate records.\nSupport privacy-related queries from internal teams, escalating to counsel where appropriate.\nSupport the management of litigation, organization for disputes and requests from external counsel.\nSupport IP portfolio management, including renewals and liaison with external IP counsel.\nProvide general legal support on employment and HR related matters, including assisting with documentation, and coordination with the HR team as needed.\nSupport with ad hoc legal requests and queries as and when required.\nLiaise with internal stakeholders and external advisers on legal matters.\nAdministrative & Operational Support\nMaintain and organize legal files, databases and document management systems.\nAssist with legal team administration, including billing support, matter tracking and reporting.\nSupport compliance processes and internal policies.\nOwn and maintain various internal trackers and status reports.\nHelp improve legal team processes and workflows where appropriate.\nKey Requirements:\nAbility to commute into our offices 3 days a week.\nLLB Law degree, GDL plus LPC, or other legal qualification.\nMinimum of 1-2 years’ experience working as a paralegal.\nExperience supporting corporate and/or commercial legal work.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and work to deadlines.\nConfident communicator, able to work with stakeholders at all levels.\nProficient in Microsoft Office, AI tools and document management systems.\nExperience working in an in-house legal team.\nFamiliarity with contract management systems.\nPersonal Attributes:\nProactive, self-motivated and eager to learn.\nPractical and solutions-focused approach.\nAble to work independently while also being a strong team player.\nComfortable handling confidential and sensitive information.\n\nWHY COGNISM\nAt Cognism, we’re not just building a company - we’re building an inclusive community of brilliant, diverse people who support, challenge, and inspire each other every day.
