Working as part of a small but mighty Platform team, your expertise will be instrumental in driving performance, scalability, and developer efficiency across the business.\nYOUR CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES\nDesign Resilient Systems - Architect and maintain secure, scalable, and observable infrastructure to support Cognism’s growing platform needs.\nStreamline Deployments - Build and manage infrastructure-as-code to enable fast, standardized, and reliable deployments across teams.\nAdvance CI/CD Pipelines - Evolve and maintain CI/CD systems that minimize downtime and maximize deployment speed and consistency.\nBoost Developer Experience - Create tooling and automation to reduce friction in development workflows and accelerate delivery.\nFoster Collaboration - Work cross-functionally with Security, Data, ML, and Product teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with both technical and business goals.\nLead Incident Readiness - Own systems post-deployment, driving observability, failover planning, and incident response.\nDrive Continuous Improvement - Participate in architecture discussions, retrospectives, and planning to improve infrastructure processes and resilience.\nChampion Documentation - Create and maintain documentation and post-incident reviews to support shared learning and onboarding.\nOUR EXPECTATIONS\n Cloud Expertise - 3+ years experience managing production systems on AWS (experience with Azure and AliCloud a bonus).\nContainer Orchestration - 2+ years using Kubernetes in production environments.\nInfrastructure as Code - 3+ years experience with Terraform and GitOps workflows.\nObservability First - Proficient with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Coralogix, Loki, or similar tools.\nSystem-Level Thinking - Analytical mindset with the ability to consider the whole system, not just the task at hand.\n Automation & Scripting - Solid command of Linux and scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).\nCI/CD Familiarity - Experience with Github Actions, ArgoCD, or similar tools.\nStrong Communicator - Excellent collaboration skills with an ability to explain technical concepts clearly.\nCertifications Welcome - AWS, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications are a plus, but not required.\nProficiency in coding with Python or Golang\nOUR TECH STACK\nCloud Providers - AWS, Azure, AliCloud, plus various SaaS platforms\n Orchestration - ECS, EKS (Kubernetes)\nServerless - Step Functions, EMR, Lambdas, API Gateway\nCI/CD - GitHub Actions, FluxCD, ArgoCD, Terraform\nDatabases - A mix of SQL and NoSQL technologies\n Cloud Services - VPC, EC2, ELB, S3 (and equivalents across clouds)\nObservability - Prometheus, Loki, OTEL, Coralogix, Thanos\n\nWHY COGNISM\nAt Cognism, we’re not just building a company - we’re building an inclusive community of brilliant, diverse people who support, challenge, and inspire each other every day.
