Your work will focus on CRM integrations, enrichment workflows, synchronization services and customer-facing data experiences. You will help enterprise customers seamlessly move trusted Cognism data into platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot and other business applications. \nWhat You'll Do \nDesign and develop backend services supporting CRM integrations and enrichment workflows\nBuild scalable APIs enabling secure data exchange between Cognismand customer platforms\nOwn software throughout its lifecycle, from design through production operations\nCollaborate closely with Product Managers, Customer Success, Data Engineering and Platform teams\nImprove integration reliability, synchronization performanceand customer experience\nWrite high-quality automated tests and participatein code reviews\nContribute to architecture discussions and engineering best practices\nLeverage AI-assisted engineering tools to improve software delivery and quality\nTechnology Environment \nCloud-native backend services running on AWS\nREST APIs and event-driven microservices\nCRM integrations (Salesforce, HubSpotand similar ecosystems)\nKafka and asynchronous messaging\nSQL / NoSQL databases \nModern CI/CD pipelines and automated testing\nWhat Success Looks Like \nReliable customer integrations with measurable improvements in stability and performance\nHigh-quality enrichment services supportingenterprise customers\nProduction ownership with rapid issue resolution\nReusable engineering components adopted across multiple product teams\nContinuous improvements in customer experience and engineering quality \nRequired Experience \n5+ years of professional software engineering experience\nStrong backend engineering skills using Java, Scala, Kotlin, C# or modern TypeScript/Node.js\nExperience building APIs and system integrations\nKnowledge of distributed systems and asynchronous processing\nExperience with AWS or another major cloud platform\nUnderstanding of CI/CD, automated testingand production support\nExcellent communication skills and fluent English\nNice to Have \nExperience integrating with Salesforce, HubSpot or other CRM platforms\nKnowledge of event streaming using Kafka\nExperience with ETL or data enrichment pipelines\nInfrastructure as Code and Kubernetes\nExperience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot\n\nWHY COGNISM\nAt Cognism, we’re not just building a company - we’re building an inclusive community of brilliant, diverse people who support, challenge, and inspire each other every day.
