Join us in this venture where AI and data meet ingenuity, and together, we will forge the path to a smarter, more connected industrial future.\nHow you’ll demonstrate Ownership\nAs a Data Scientist within Cognite’s EMEA Delivery team, you will collaborate with cross-functional experts-Data Engineers, Solution Architects, and Project Managers-to deploy and scale digital solutions for heavy industries like Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Pharma, Power & Utilities, Life-Sciences\nYou will work directly with industry leaders to drive digital transformation: leading client discovery workshops, uncovering insights from complex data, and operationalizing scalable solutions that make heavy assets more efficient and sustainable.\nThe Impactyou bring to Cognite\nDevelop and deploy scalable solutions for customer use cases from Oil and Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, Pharma, Life-Sciences, Power & Utilities industries using Cognite’s core capabilities\nParticipate in and contribute to intensive use case generation workshops with subject matter experts to understand the problem and how it maps to the data\nPerform data cleansing and exploratory data analysis\nImplement physical models / machine learning models in Python and deploy to our model hosting environment\nApply GenAI techniques to enhance data-driven decision-making in customer use cases \nDevelop web applications built on Cognite Data Fusion with the help of AI agents\nUtilize and contribute to solution templates and best practices within the Data Science team\nCollaborate with data engineers, project managers and solution architects on project deliveries to enable our customers to achieve the full potential of our industrial DataOps platform\nSupport customers and partners in conducting data science tasks with Cognite products\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.\n1-4 years of relevant work experience as a data scientist (preferably within related industry)\nProficient experience with Python, SQL and AI IDEs such as Claude Code, Cursor.
