Join us in this venture where AI and data meet ingenuity, and together, we will forge the path to a smarter, more connected industrial future.\nHow you’ll demonstrate Ownership\nAs a Senior Data Engineer in Cognite, your role will be to create and deliver solutions to the biggest problems challenging our industrial customers today by designing, developing and implementing data infrastructure and best-in-class pipelines that collect and connect data from various data sources. In this role, you will not only be responsible for designing and implementing robust data pipelines and architectures but also have the potential to evolve into a Lead, guiding and mentoring a team of data engineers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, driving data-driven solutions that enable our clients to make impactful business decisions.\nThe Impactyou bring to Cognite\nDrive and manage integrations, extractions, data modeling, and analysis using Cognite data connectors, SQL, Python/Java and Rest APIs\nCreate custom data models for data discovery, mapping, and cleansing\nPartner with Solution Architects to understand client requirements and define queries with subject matter experts\nSupport customers and partners in conducting data engineering tasks with Cognite products\nOptimize for non-functional requirements (E.g. access control, security, disaster recovery, logging, monitoring) to reach necessary service maturity for each solution\nCollaborate with our R&D and Product Management teams to turn customer needs into a prioritized pipeline of product offerings\nMentor, coach and help recruit junior Data Engineers\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor or Master degree in computer science or similar.
