You’ll take ownership of complex features from ideation to deployment, designing solutions that are engaging, secure, and scalable across the entire stack. Working closely with product, design, and fellow engineers, you’ll help shape technical direction, raise the quality bar through code reviews and mentoring, and ensure we’re shipping a seamless, reliable experience for our users.\nThe Impactyou bring to Cognite\nA typical day as a Cogniter will contain the following tasks & responsibilities\nWork with a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies and own and solve problems end-to-end\nCollaborate in a fast-paced environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts\nUsing your fullstack development skills to build tools that extract key information from documents and connect data, such that users can make the most of their industrial data\nDesign and implement elegant APIs, user experiences, and the underlying infrastructure that leverage smart algorithms and AI\nBe actively involved in setting product and technical direction\nWork closely with our skilled users to understand their needs and build products to help them succeed\nRequired Qualifications\nYou have 6+ years of fullstack software engineering experience\nYou have abachelor's degree or more in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar, or equivalent experience\nYou can learn new coding languages and use the language that best fits the purpose. In particular, you have hands-on experience with Python and any Python backend framework (FastAPI, Flask, Django). Previous experience writing code in Kotlin is a plus.\nYou have front-end experience in frameworks like React, Angular, Vue, or something similar and a solid grasp of JavaScript and enjoy the benefits of TypeScript \nYou have experience with some of the following: Google Cloud Platform services, Azure, and/or AWS.
