This is an in-office role.\nYou will partner closely with leadership across the region to build high-quality pipelines for a wide range of roles. Your main focus will be technical hiring, and you will also cover G&A functions such as finance, legal, people and operations.\nYou will be expected to operate with urgency, precision and high judgment. You will not simply manage process. You will help shape markets, map talent, influence hiring strategy and close bar-raising candidates in highly competitive environments.\nThe ideal person has a builder/operator mindset, understands what great talent looks like across technical and business functions in high-growth technology companies, and knows how to create momentum in ambiguous, fast-moving markets.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn end-to-end recruiting for a mix of technical and G&A roles across the EMEA region.\n\nBuild deep talent maps across enterprise software, AI, developer tools, cloud, infrastructure and high-growth technology companies, as well as the finance, legal, people and operations talent that helps them scale.\n\nPartner with hiring managers to define role requirements, calibration, interview process and candidate profile.\n\nSource, engage and close exceptional passive candidates.\n\nRepresent Cognition's story with clarity, credibility and energy in market.\n\nDrive candidates through a high-bar hiring process while maintaining an excellent candidate experience.\n\nUse data and market insight to help leadership understand pipeline quality, conversion, compensation signals and hiring risks.\n\nWork closely with international talent leadership to improve process, raise the bar and build scalable recruiting muscle across EMEA.\n\nAct as a talent advisor, not an order taker.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nProven full-cycle recruiting experience at high-growth technology companies, with a strong track record in technical hiring.\n\nExperience recruiting for G&A functions (e.g. finance, legal, people, operations), or the range and curiosity to ramp up quickly across them.\n\nStrong understanding of enterprise software, SaaS, AI, infrastructure, developer tools or cloud markets.\n\nExperience hiring across multiple EMEA markets, with an understanding of local market dynamics, employment practices and compensation norms.\n\nAbility to identify and engage high-calibre passive candidates.\n\nStrong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to push back, calibrate and advise senior hiring leaders.\n\nComfort managing a varied req load across functions and seniority levels, and prioritising with sound judgment.\n\nHigh agency, high ownership and strong attention to detail.\n\nA track record of hiring bar-raising talent in competitive markets.\n\nComfort operating in a fast-changing, 0 to 1 environment.\n\nStrong sourcing discipline and the ability to build pipeline without relying on inbound or agencies.\n\nA builder mindset: you improve the system while delivering the work.\n\nBased in, or willing to relocate to, London, and comfortable working from our London office.\n\nWhat Makes You Stand Out\nYou have helped build early teams in new international markets.\n\nYou have recruited for frontier AI, developer tools, infrastructure, cloud or enterprise software companies.\n\nYou have hired across both technical and G&A roles, and can switch between them easily.\n\nYou have experience partnering with regional stakeholders, founding country leaders and/or G&A leaders.\n\nYou are comfortable moving between strategic talent mapping and hands-on execution.\n\nYou care deeply about quality, not just speed.\n\nYou know how to close candidates who have multiple options.\n\nOur Commitment\nEqual Opportunity.
