The company is unable to provide employment-based immigration sponsorship for this position.\"\n\nJob Title: ADMS Technology/ System Engineer\nRole Overview\nThe ADMS Technology Engineer is responsible for the complete technology lifecycle of Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), including design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and operational support. The role works closely with Business Analysts, Product Managers, System Operators, Cybersecurity teams, Network teams, Vendors, and other technical stakeholders to ensure reliable and efficient grid operations.\nThe engineer may support both new ADMS implementations and production support environments, focusing on system performance, integrations, troubleshooting, upgrades, and continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Solution Design & Implementation\nAnalyze business requirements, operational workflows, and user needs to create technical designs and implementation plans.\nConfigure and implement ADMS applications, modules, and integrated solutions.\nSupport deployment of new features, upgrades, patches, enhancements, and defect fixes across development, testing, and production environments.\nConfigure workstations, applications, and system components to meet operational and project requirements.\n2. System Administration & Support\nMonitor system health, performance, and operational reports to ensure service reliability and compliance.\nTroubleshoot application and infrastructure issues through log analysis, trace review, configuration validation, and change verification.\nPerform workstation and server patching on Windows and Linux environments.\nMaintain environment readiness and support command-line configurations when required.\n3. Production Support & Issue Resolution\nInvestigate escalated incidents and perform root cause analysis.\nDevelop and implement both short-term fixes and long-term corrective actions.\nSupport end users with login issues, password resets, system access requests, and functional inquiries.\nEnsure timely resolution of system defects and operational issues.\n4. Systems Integration & Testing\nSupport testing and validation of interfaces between:SCADA\nOMS (Outage Management System)\nGIS (Geographic Information System)\nDMS (Distribution Management System)\nHistorian Systems\nICCP Interfaces\nEnterprise Data Integrations\n\nValidate data accuracy, availability, and system interoperability.\n5. Technical Reviews & Documentation\nConduct peer reviews of technical designs, configurations, implementation plans, code, and deployment artifacts.\nEnsure compliance with cybersecurity policies and enterprise standards.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and operational runbooks.\n6. Infrastructure & Virtualization\nWork with virtualized environments such as VMware vCenter.\nSupport system provisioning, monitoring, maintenance, and resource management.\nUnderstand and work with:Network topology diagrams\nLAN/IP schemas\nFirewall configurations\nServer architecture diagrams\nInterface specifications\n\n7. Reporting & Analytics\nCreate and maintain operational reports and dashboards.\nDevelop Power BI reports to support operational monitoring and business decision-making.\n8.
