Working closely with engineering SRE NOC and ITSM stakeholders you will turn business needs into clear delivery plans and measurable outcomes.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nRoles and Responsibilities\n\nLead and mentor the Splunk Datadog and BigPanda admin teams including hiring workload planning performance reviews and skills development.\n\nOwn end to end delivery of observability services including onboarding of applications dashboards alerts and integrations.\n\nDefine and manage the observability roadmap standards and tagging and naming conventions across all three platforms.\n\nManage service levels KPIs and reporting such as platform availability onboarding turnaround MTTA MTTR and alert noise reduction.\n\nOversee BigPanda event correlation and integration with Datadog Splunk ServiceNow and PagerDuty to ensure a clean alerting flow.\n\nGovern licensing usage and cost for Splunk ingestion Datadog hosts and logs and BigPanda driving optimization and forecasting.\n\nManage vendor relationships contracts renewals support escalations and product upgrades.\n\nRun intake prioritization and sprint or Kanban planning for requests projects and enhancements.\n\nEnsure platform security access control audit and compliance requirements are met.\n\nOwn incident problem and change management for observability platforms including post incident reviews and continuous improvement.\n\nDrive automation and as code practices to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.\n\nCommunicate status risks and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders and promote observability best practices through training and documentation.\n\nTypical Qualifications\n\n12 or more years in IT operations monitoring or SRE with at least 4 years in a team lead or delivery management role hands on knowledge of Splunk Datadog and BigPanda experience with ITIL and Agile delivery budget and vendor management skills and strong communication and stakeholder
