In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI, and Agentic AI to build production-ready systems that drive business value, accelerate decision-making, and enable intelligent automation.\nYou will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, architects, data engineers, and business teams to translate business requirements into scalable, reliable, and governed AI solutions.\nIn This Role, You Will\nDesign, develop, and deploy production-grade AI and Machine Learning solutions.\nBuild and maintain advanced Generative AI and Agentic AI applications utilizing multi-agent orchestration frameworks.\nDevelop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and Natural Language-to-SQL (Text-to-SQL) applications.\nCreate and optimize LLM evaluation, monitoring, observability, and governance frameworks.\nDesign scalable NLP solutions, including text classification, semantic search, topic modeling, sentiment analysis, and embedding-based applications.\nDevelop and deploy machine learning models using statistical and deep learning techniques.\nBuild high-performance data pipelines and AI workflows using Python, PySpark, SQL, and cloud-native technologies.\nImplement MLOps best practices including CI/CD, model validation, monitoring, drift detection, and automated quality controls.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver scalable AI solutions aligned with organizational objectives.\nEnsure AI systems adhere to enterprise governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI standards.\nContribute to AI platform architecture, solution modernization initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.\nWe strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.\nWhat You Need to Have to Be Considered\n· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.\n· 8+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related disciplines.\n· Strong hands-on experience developing and deploying enterprise AI/ML solutions in production environments.\n· Proven experience with Generative AI technologies, including RAG, agent-based systems, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation.\n· Expertise in Python and AI/ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, and Hugging Face.\n· Experience with LangGraph and/or LangChain for AI application development.\n· Strong knowledge of NLP techniques including classification, semantic similarity, embeddings, clustering, and topic modeling.\n· Experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using SQL and PySpark.\n· Experience deploying solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.\n· Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.\n· Experience implementing MLOps practices, including model deployment, monitoring, validation, CI/CD, and observability.\n· Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.\nSalary and Other Compensation:\nApplications will be accepted until October 29, 2026.\nThe annual salary for this position is between $88,000 - $135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.\nThis position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.\nBenefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\n· Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance\n· Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off\n· 401(k) plan and contributions\n· Long-term/Short-term Disability\n· Paid Parental Leave\n· Employee Stock Purchase Plan\nDisclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
