You will partner with engineering, operations, infrastructure, and product teams to enhance stability, resiliency, performance, and observability while reducing operational risk and improving customer experience.\nIn this role, you will\nLead application reliability initiatives, identifying recurring issues and implementing improvements to enhance stability, availability, and operational effectiveness.\nDrive incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and remediation activities to reduce production incidents and improve service reliability.\nAssess and improve application resiliency, performance, monitoring, and observability across critical systems and integrations.\nIdentify automation opportunities and process improvements that reduce manual effort, operational risk, and support overhead.\nCommunicate reliability risks, priorities, metrics, and progress to stakeholders while coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes.\nWork Model\nHybrid | São Paulo, Brazil\nThis role follows Cognizant’s hybrid work model, requiring periodic onsite collaboration while working closely with global teams and stakeholders.\nWhat you need to have to be considered\n8+ years of experience in Application Reliability Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Production Engineering, Application Support, or Operations.\nStrong experience leading reliability, stability, and production support initiatives for business-critical applications.\nExperience with incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), problem management, and operational readiness.\nStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills using logs, metrics, traces, and monitoring data.\nHands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, AppDynamics, Grafana, or similar.\nStrong understanding of application architecture, APIs, integrations, databases, and cloud-based environments.\nExperience with automation tools and scripting languages such as Python, Shell, Ansible, Jenkins, or similar.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.\nAdvanced English proficiency.\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nThese will help you stand out\nExperience working in large enterprise environments.\nKnowledge of ITIL processes and service management practices.\nExperience with microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.\nPrevious consulting experience in Reliability Engineering, Production Support, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).\nExperience defining and managing SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and operational metrics.\nExposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.\nRelevant certifications in Cloud, ITIL, SRE, or DevOps.\nPlease upload your resume in English\nPlease upload your resume in English.
