You will be a valued member of the Cloud Infrastructure and Security team and work collaboratively with your manager, engineering and operations teams, security and compliance stakeholders, and client representatives.\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign, build, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available AWS environments using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices\nDesign, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test, and deployment across environments\nManage and monitor cloud infrastructure, respond to incidents, and automate operational tasks to improve system reliability, performance, and efficiency\nConduct vulnerability assessments, security audits, and risk analysis, and lead remediation and patching programs to strengthen cloud security posture\nMaintain compliance with Australian regulatory and security requirements, including the ASD Essential Eight and the Information Security Manual (ISM), and perform compliance reviews and security governance activities using cloud-native and third-party security tools\nWhat you need to have to be considered\nExtensive hands-on expertise administering AWS cloud infrastructure (or another major cloud platform such as Azure or GCP), including secure, scalable, and highly available designs\nStrong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform or Ansible\nHands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions\nDemonstrated experience performing vulnerability assessments, security audits, risk analysis, and remediation, including patch management\nWorking knowledge of Australian security and regulatory frameworks, including the ASD Essential Eight and the ISM\nThese will help you stand out\nRelevant certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer\nFamiliarity with DevSecOps practices\nExperience managing compliance reviews and security governance programs in regulated environments\nTrack record of identifying security gaps and leading proactive, continuous security improvement initiatives\nFamiliarity with cloud security best practices across multi-account or enterprise-scale AWS environments\nWe’re excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
