Our broad approach delivers key results for our customers by achieving cloud driven modernization and workplace and operational transformation to own the business in a secure environment.\nRole: AWS Sr. Cloud Engineer\nLocation Toronto, ON\nMandatory skills: AWS Core Services (CloudWatch, VPC, Subnets,ALB, R53, VPC Endpoints, and PrivateLink, AWS Compute Optimizer, AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets,\nMedium: AWS RedShift, Amazon Aurora, AWS CDK with Typescript\nBuild and operate container infrastructure using Amazon ECS, AWS Fargate, ECS Services, Task Definitions, Fargate Spot, and Application Auto Scaling for reporting workloads.\nProvision and manage Dev, SIT, UAT, and Production infrastructure using AWS CDK with Typescript, ensuring repeatable and standardized AWS deployments.\nConfigure AWS networking using Amazon VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups, ALB, Route 53, VPC Endpoints, and PrivateLink in line with approved enterprise patterns.\nImplement ECS/Fargate auto scaling, including scheduled scaling, queue-backlog-based scaling where applicable, capacity thresholds, scale-in protection, and workload-specific scaling policies.\nImplement infrastructure observability using Amazon CloudWatch, Container Insights, CloudWatch Logs, Logs Insights, Alarms, Dashboards, and Anomaly Detection for latency, utilization, queue depth, and container health.\nImplement AWS infrastructure security using IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, Security Groups, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch Logs, following least-privilege, encryption, and audit requirements.\nProvision and manage infrastructure configurations for Amazon Aurora/Aurora Serverless and Amazon Redshift/Redshift Serverless, including capacity limits, connectivity, security, availability, scaling, and monitoring.\nPerform capacity and cost optimization using AWS Compute Optimizer, Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, Cost Anomaly Detection, Container Insights, and Fargate Spot.\nEngineer and support AWS infrastructure for high availability, resiliency, chaos testing, production parallel run, cutover, rollback, and hypercare, including infrastructure troubleshooting and recovery.\nPerform infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, demand analysis, and capacity planning using CloudWatch, CloudWatch Logs Insights, Container Insights, CloudTrail, Athena, Compute Optimizer, and Cost Explorer.\nCompensation: We are offering between $115,000 - $127,000.
