The successful candidate will work closely with application, infrastructure, DevOps, networking, and security teams to continuously improve the stability and resilience of the Azure platform.\nSalary and Other Compensation:\nThe annual salary for this position is up to $130K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.\nThis position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage, monitor, and support production and non-production workloads on Microsoft Azure, ensuring reliability, availability, performance, scalability, and security.\nSupport and troubleshoot Azure services including Virtual Machines, App Services, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure networking components.\nDesign, implement, and maintain scalable, resilient, highly available, and operationally reliable Azure cloud solutions.\nTroubleshoot complex infrastructure, application connectivity, networking, performance, deployment, and availability issues, driving timely resolution and root-cause analysis.\nImplement and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, diagnostics, dashboards, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Azure-native monitoring solutions.\nApply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve service availability, platform stability, operational efficiency, and overall system reliability.\nBuild, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, supporting reliable and repeatable application and infrastructure deployments.\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Bicep, and/or ARM templates to automate and standardize Azure infrastructure provisioning and configuration.\nAutomate repetitive operational, deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure-management activities to reduce manual intervention and improve platform reliability.\nSupport Azure security, identity, and access management, including RBAC, managed identities, Key Vault, network security, and related security controls.\nPartner with security and infrastructure teams to address vulnerabilities, configuration issues, patching, security remediation, compliance, and cloud governance requirements.\nParticipate in incident, problem, change, and release management, perform root-cause analysis for production issues, maintain operational documentation, and collaborate across application, DevOps, infrastructure, networking, and security teams to drive continuous improvement.\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure and production workloads.\nStrong understanding of Azure infrastructure architecture, availability, scalability, resiliency, and troubleshooting.\nHands-on experience with key Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, AKS, and Azure networking.\nStrong experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, monitoring, logging, and alerting.\nHands-on experience building, maintaining, or troubleshooting Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.\nStrong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, Bicep, and/or ARM templates.\nExperience troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure, application connectivity, networking, performance, and availability issues.\nExperience supporting RBAC, managed identities, Key Vault, identity/access controls, and network security in Azure.\nExperience supporting security remediation, vulnerability remediation, patching, governance, and compliance activities.\nGood knowledge of operational processes including incident management, problem management, change management, and release management.\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work effectively across application and infrastructure teams.\nPreferred Skills\nHands-on experience operating AKS-based/containerized workloads in production environments.\nExperience automating repetitive cloud operations and production-support activities.\nUnderstanding of modern SRE and DevOps engineering practices.\nExperience working in enterprise-scale Azure environments with multiple applications and infrastructure components.\nKnowledge of cloud networking, application connectivity, load balancing, security, and identity concepts.\nAbility to analyze operational issues and translate recurring problems into automation or engineering improvements.\nStrong documentation, collaboration,
