You will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring timely enrollments, regulatory compliance, accurate provider data management, and an exceptional client experience.\nIn this role, you will:\nServe as the primary point of contact for assigned clients regarding credentialing and payer enrollment activities.\nManage the end-to-end provider enrollment lifecycle, including initial enrollments, revalidations, demographic updates, maintenance requests, and payer terminations.\nCoordinate with commercial and government payers to facilitate timely provider enrollment and resolve enrollment-related issues.\nMaintain accurate provider records, supporting documentation, databases, and case notes.\nMonitor account performance and provide regular status updates, reporting, and communication to clients and internal stakeholders.\nInvestigate and resolve enrollment issues, escalations, and payer-related challenges to ensure successful outcomes.\nEnsure compliance with payer requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies.\nParticipate in process improvement initiatives and support operational excellence across credentialing and enrollment functions.\nWork Model\nRemote\nAt Cognizant, we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible and support a healthy work-life balance through our wellbeing programs.\nThis position is fully remote, allowing you to work from your home office while collaborating with clients, providers, payers, and internal teams in a virtual environment.\nThe working arrangements for this role are accurate as of the date of posting and may be subject to change based on business or client needs.\nWhat you need to have to be considered\n1+ year of healthcare credentialing, provider enrollment, or payer enrollment experience.\nStrong understanding of provider credentialing and payer enrollment processes.\nExperience working with commercial and government health plans.\nKnowledge of provider lifecycle management, enrollment maintenance, and revalidation requirements.\nExperience utilizing credentialing and enrollment platforms such as CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, Medicaid portals, Availity, and payer-specific systems.\nExcellent client relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines.\nHigh attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.\nThese will help you stand out\nExperience supporting large healthcare organizations, medical groups, or healthcare services providers.\nKnowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollment requirements.\nExperience analyzing enrollment metrics and productivity reports.\nFamiliarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards related to provider enrollment.\nExperience working in a fast-paced, client-facing healthcare operations environment.\nDemonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement operational efficiencies.\nSalary and Other Compensation:\nApplications will be accepted until October 25, 2026.\nThe annual salary for this position is between $63,000-$71,000 depending on experience and other\nqualifications of the successful candidate.\nThis position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and\nsubject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.\nWe're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
