Experience in banking or other regulated financial services environments is highly valued.\nAbout the role\nAs a Solution Architect, you will make an impact by shaping and delivering end-to-end migration programs, from discovery and wave planning through execution, stabilization, and datacenter exit, whether the target is a new datacenter, colocation, private cloud, or public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP). You will be a valued member of the internal Solution Architects team and work collaboratively with program stakeholders and senior management to deliver an integrated, high-quality outcome. Experience in banking or other regulated financial services environments is highly valued.\nIn this role, you will\nLead datacentre assessments for consolidation, covering EOL/EOS, technology upgrades, hybrid cloud fitment, business continuity, and workload patterns.\nDesign greenfield datacenter converged and hyper-converged infrastructure and public cloud landing zones.\nDrive large-scale transformation and transition projects across hybrid cloud environments.\nArchitect and build datacenter and hybrid cloud solutions, including their integration, as a build SME.\nAutomate and orchestrate migrations using native tools, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and PowerShell.\nWork model\nAt Cognizant, we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.\nWhat you need to have to be considered\nSolution Architect expertise spanning multiple technologies, including on-premise datacenter and at least one public cloud.\nExperience migrating workloads across hybrid cloud environments using native and third-party tools.\nHands-on experience with IaC builds and configurations, and automation/orchestration using native tools and PowerShell.\nOn-premise technology stack exposure to at least one of: virtualization (VMware/Nutanix), server hardware, or storage.\n15-18 years of experience architecting and managing large engagements across the applications and infrastructure space.\nThese will help you stand out\nStrong communication and presentation skills, with proven experience interacting with senior management.\nPrior experience managing teams and driving solutions across multiple stakeholder groups toward a common goal.\nGood understanding of industry trends and NextGen technologies.\nExperience in business or IT transformation programs.\nSelf-driven, motivated, and able to own and deliver defined solutions.\nWe're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
