Working within a DevOps model, this role combines deep ServiceNow data architecture expertise with broader database engineering skills to ensure data integrity, performance, and seamless data flows across enterprise systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and manage ServiceNow table structures, including custom tables, table\nextensions, dictionary entries, relationships, and database views.\nDevelop and maintain data import/export pipelines using ServiceNow Import Sets,\nTransform Maps, and Data Sources.\nBuild and optimize complex queries using GlideRecord, GlideAggregate, and encoded\nquery syntax; identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in database operations.\nDesign and implement data migration strategies for platform upgrades, instance\nconsolidations, or system onboarding initiatives.\nDevelop and maintain integrations that move data between ServiceNow and external\nsystems (relational databases, data warehouses, REST/SOAP endpoints, ETL pipelines).\nCollaborate with the ServiceNow Developer and Administrator to ensure data model\nchanges align with application architecture and platform best practices.\nPartner with reporting and analytics teams to design performant data foundations for\ndashboards and Performance Analytics indicators.\nImplement data governance standards: field-level security, data classification, audit fields,\nand retention policies within ServiceNow.\nContribute to CI/CD pipelines by managing database-layer changes through Update Sets or\nsource control and ensuring schema changes are tested and documented.\nProvide expertise in relational database concepts (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) as\nthey relate to ServiceNow's underlying architecture.\nPerform data audits, cleansing activities, and deduplication efforts to maintain high data\nquality.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or\nequivalent experience).\n3+ years of ServiceNow platform experience with a focus on data architecture,\nimport/transform, and GlideRecord scripting.\nProficiency in SQL and experience with relational database systems (SQL Server, MySQL,\nor PostgreSQL).\nStrong understanding of ServiceNow's CMDB structure, CI relationships, and data model.\nExperience with REST/SOAP API data integration patterns.\nFamiliarity with DevOps practices: version control, CI/CD, and structured release\nmanagement.\nPreferred Qualifications\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist- CMDB (CIS-CMDB).\nExperience with ETL tools or data integration platforms (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Boomi).\nKnowledge of ServiceNow IntegrationHub and MID Server configuration.\nFamiliarity with data warehousing concepts and reporting platforms (Power BI, Tableau).\nExperience supporting CMDB Discovery and Service Mapping.\nCompetencies\nDeep analytical thinking with a data-integrity-first approach.\nStrong problem-solving skills for complex data transformation and mapping challenges.\nDetail-oriented with rigorous documentation habits.\nEffective collaborator across development, QA, and business stakeholder teams.\nAbility to communicate data design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical\naudiences.\nThis role may require participation in off-hours data migration activities and platform upgrade\ndata validation efforts.\nRoles/ Responsibilities\nEngage with stakeholders across IT, HR, Finance, Operations, and business units to elicit, document, and prioritize requirements for ServiceNow enhancements, new modules, and process improvements.\nTranslate business requirements into well-defined user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, process flows, and use cases that are ready for ServiceNow development and configuration.\nMaintain and groom the ServiceNow product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner and Scrum Master, ensuring stories are sprint-ready with clear definitions of done. Facilitate requirements workshops, process discovery sessions, and stakeholder reviews; document outcomes and drive alignment between business and technical teams. Produce current-state and future-state business process documentation, with a focus on how ServiceNow workflows support end-to-end service management processes.\nAnalyze existing ServiceNow configurations, workflows, and catalog items to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities; recommend platform-native solutions before custom development. Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, architects, and administrators throughout the delivery lifecycle to clarify requirements, validate solutions, and ensure business intent is preserved in delivered configurations.\nSupport user acceptance testing (UAT): develop UAT plans, coordinate business stakeholder testing, capture feedback, and track defects to closure. Contribute to change management activities: impact assessments, communication plans, user training content, and release notes for ServiceNow changes.\nProduce and maintain data mapping documents, integration requirements, catalog item specifications, and service catalog design documentation. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies throughout the sprint lifecycle.\nCompensation: We are offering between $90,000 - $115,000.
