You will work collaboratively with client and delivery teams to understand data requirements, analyze FACETS data, and develop SQL-based solutions that support healthcare operations and reporting needs.\nIn this role, you will:\nPerform data analysis within FACETS to support business, operational, and reporting requirements.\nDevelop SQL scripts for data extraction, analysis, validation, and reporting from FACETS.\nWork directly with client stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective SQL solutions.\nDevelop and maintain SQL scripts and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server.\nAnalyze data across key FACETS functional areas, including Eligibility, Claims, and Providers, and support validation and troubleshooting activities.\nWork model\nWe strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Rest assured, we will always be clear about role expectations.\nWhat you need to have to be considered\n6 years of experience working with FACETS in a healthcare technology or healthcare payer environment.\nStrong knowledge of the FACETS Data Model and the ability to analyze and extract data from FACETS.\nGood functional knowledge of Eligibility, Claims, and Provider domains within FACETS.\nExtensive hands-on experience developing SQL scripts and SQL stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server.\nAbility to translate business and reporting requirements into accurate data queries, extracts, and reporting solutions.\nThese will help you stand out\nHands-on experience performing FACETS data analysis, extraction, and reporting.\nExperience working directly with clients or business stakeholders to define and clarify data requirements.\nStrong understanding of healthcare payer data and claims-related workflows.\nExperience troubleshooting and validating complex healthcare data across Eligibility, Claims, and Provider functional areas.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.\nSalary and Other Compensation:\nApplicants will be accepted till 9/20/2026\nCognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.\n*Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future*\nThe annual salary for this position will be in the range of $113,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.\nThis position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.\nBenefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\nMedical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance\nPaid holidays plus Paid Time Off\n401(k) plan and contributions\nLong-term/Short-term Disability\nPaid Parental Leave\nEmployee Stock Purchase Plan\nDisclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
