You will be a valued member of the Data Engineering team and work collaboratively with transportation planners, operations teams, and product stakeholders.\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign and implement robust data architectures on Google Cloud that support transportation and logistics analytics and reporting with high reliability for operational decision making.\nDevelop scalable data pipelines using Python and Cloud Pub/Sub to ingest, transform, and distribute logistics data such as shipments, routes, and tracking events across critical systems.\nOptimize BigQuery data models and queries to ensure efficient processing of large transportation datasets while meeting performance, cost, and compliance objectives.\nConfigure and manage AlloyDB instances to support transactional and analytical workloads that store routing, capacity planning, and delivery status data for logistics operations.\nImplement comprehensive Google Cloud Monitoring dashboards, alerts, and metrics to proactively observe data workflows and quickly resolve issues impacting logistics processes.\nWork model\nWe believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible.
