The position includes management of project budget, resource requirements and delivery schedule. The Migration Project Manager manages internal efforts and those of third party/partners.\nWhat you’ll do In the role, you will:\nLeads the successful delivery of complex customer IT Infrastructure projects from planning, design to implementation.\nManages the project from start to completion including the resolution of project risks and issues.\nManages small to medium or a portion of larger, more complex customer IT Infrastructure projects.\nProvides leadership and management of the project team.\nEnsures project objectives and performance metrics are achieved.\nEnsures that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and are accepted by the customer.\nResponsible for the creation and updating of the project schedule and plan with financial, resource and material requirements.\nResponsible for regular customer and internal project status and project financial reporting.\nResponsible for organizing and leading project team and project governance team meetings.\nAccountable for the Project Budget.\nParticipates in the preparation of proposals and agreements.\nOversees project staff including project engineers, both on- and off-shore team, vendors, partners or subcontractors.\nPresents service business value to customers for new or existing business.\nCapturing key Lessons learnt and Best Practices which can be used to improve migration delivery performance\nWorking closely with customer teams and Cognizant customer account teams across the key engagement accounts.\nContinuously focuses on project delivery excellence and high level of customer satisfaction.\nBuild tight working relationship with CIS TS offshore delivery teams.\nGood business judgment, a comfortable, open communication style, and a willingness and ability to work with customers and teams.\nThe candidate will be part of Cognizant’s IT Infrastructure Transformation Services team in the Benelux, providing Project Management expertise within the team.\n\nWhat you’ll need to succeed:\n8+ years project management experience with IT Infrastructure technologies.\nCompleted formal Project Management training and certification.\n Conceptual knowledge of main IT Infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications).\nGood understanding of project scoping and risk assessment techniques.\nGood negotiation, communication and presentation skills.\nAn understanding of the legal issues with contracts.\n\nExperience in platform and data center migrations and consolidations.\nProject plan and schedule creation.\nAbility to balance multiple tasks and work independently.\nExperience in working in Prince2 or PMI methodology managed projects.\nExperience in Agile/Scrum\nExperience in enterprise applications, solutions and data center infrastructures.\nStrong customer-interaction skills.\nAbility to quickly establish credibility and excitement with key customer personnel, as well as work collaboratively and in a hands-on manner with technical professionals.\nCognizant is offering an annual salary between $ 113,000 - $135,000 with the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\nMedical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance\nPaid holidays plus Paid Time Off\n401(k) plan and contributions\nLong-term/Short-term Disability\nPaid Parental Leave\nDisclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
