In this role, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing delivery execution, driving customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for account growth. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in IT services, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex, client-facing environment.\nIn this role, you will:\n· Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, building and maintaining trusted, long-term relationships.\n· Understand client business objectives and translate business needs into actionable requirements for delivery teams.\n· Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with client expectations.\n· Monitor project progress, timelines, deliverables, and service commitments to ensure successful outcomes.\n· Lead issue resolution and escalation management efforts, partnering with internal teams to address risks and concerns promptly.\n· Identify opportunities for account expansion, including new initiatives, project extensions, and additional service offerings.\n· Prepare and present status reports, performance metrics, governance updates, and project documentation to clients and leadership teams.\n· Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across delivery, support, quality assurance, and project management teams.\n· Conduct regular client reviews and feedback sessions to drive continuous improvement and maximize customer satisfaction.\n· Support contract renewals and retention efforts through proactive relationship management and delivery excellence.\nWork model:\nWe believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. We will always be transparent about role expectations.\nPlease note: Some roles may require in-person interviews at Cognizant offices or client locations based on project needs.\nWhat you need to have to be considered\n· 18+ years of experience in IT services, software delivery, consulting, or related industries.\n· At least 5-8 years of experience in client management, account management, onsite coordination, or customer-facing leadership roles.\n· Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), IT infrastructure, and technology delivery models.\n· Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\n· Proven ability to manage executive-level client relationships, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and resolve escalations effectively.\n· Experience overseeing project delivery within Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.\n· Familiarity with project and service management tools such as Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.\n· Strong business acumen with knowledge of contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), commercial models, and delivery governance.\n· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.\nThis will help you stand out\n· PMP, ITIL, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Six Sigma, or similar industry-recognized certifications.\n· Experience managing large enterprise accounts within the IT services or consulting industry.\n· Demonstrated success in driving account growth through cross-selling, upselling, or strategic client engagement initiatives.\n· Strong understanding of delivery governance, financial management, and operational excellence.\n· Experience working across global delivery teams and multicultural environments.\n· Flexibility to travel and work closely with client stakeholders as business needs require.\nSalary and Other Compensation:\nThe annual salary for this position is between $112,500 to $178,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.\nThis position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.\nBenefits:\nCognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\n· Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance\n· Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off\n· 401(k) plan and contributions\n· Long-term/Short-term Disability\n· Paid Parental Leave\n· Employee Stock Purchase Plan\nDisclaimer:\nThe salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
