In this role, you will monitor critical integrations, batch jobs, and message queues, drive root cause analysis for production incidents within strict SLAs, and deliver minor full-stack enhancements to optimize system reliability and operational performance.\nNote: This is primarily a production support role (about 90% support, 10% development).\nWork Schedule\nSupport hours are aligned to PST.\nWeekend on-call is required. For the first few months, the rotation is every alternate weekend. After that, after couple of months it moves to once every 4 weeks.\nIn this role, you will\nProvide L2/L3 application support for Supply Chain applications.\nMonitor application health, batch jobs, APIs, message queues, and integrations.\nInvestigate and resolve production incidents within defined SLA timelines.\nPerform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive fixes.\nHandle critical production issues during business and off-hours support.\nSupport release validation and post-deployment monitoring.\nCoordinate with infrastructure, database, middleware, SAP, and business teams during incidents.\nMinor enhancements and development across the full technology stack.\nWork model:\nWe strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.\nWhat you need to have to be considered:\n Backend Engineering: Strong expertise in Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.\nFrontend Development: Practical experience with React JS, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap for frontend updates and troubleshooting.\n Database Management: Proficiency in writing SQL queries and troubleshooting relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, or DB2).\nObservability & Support: Hands-on experience with application monitoring and ITSM tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and ServiceNow.\n Supply Chain Integration: Familiarity with supply chain integration patterns, message queues, middleware platforms, and enterprise integrations (e.g., SAP).\nThese will help you stand out\nSupply Chain/Logistics/Retail Distribution Domain exposure is nice to have.\nWe're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways. The base salary for this position ranges between CAD 70,000 - 95,00 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications.
