Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.\nImportant Disclaimer:\n**Please note: A few of our roles may require in-person interviews at Cognizant offices or client locations, depending on project or client needs.**\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign, develop, test, and deliver end-to-end full stack capabilities using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular or React, microservices, and cloud technologies.\nDrive technical design and implementation in collaboration with cross-functional teams, resolving dependencies and translating business requirements into scalable technology solutions.\nDevelop and enhance cloud-based applications on AWS or Azure, supporting automated builds, testing, deployment, and CI/CD practices.\nMonitor and optimize application performance, reliability, security, and scalability, while supporting compliance requirements within regulated environments.\nUse enterprise AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot to support software development, testing, documentation, and engineering workflows.\nWhat you need to have to be considered\n5+ years of full stack software development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.\nExperience developing modern user interfaces using Angular or React and integrating front-end applications with backend services and APIs.\nHands-on experience with AWS or Azure, relational and/or NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices.\nStrong understanding of enterprise application design, including scalability, performance, reliability, security, and cloud-native development practices.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience working across teams in an Agile delivery environment.\nThese will help you stand out\nExperience working with healthcare technology or care management platforms.\nKnowledge of regulated cloud environments and compliance standards such as HIPAA and FedRAMP.\nExperience with event-driven architectures and technologies such as Apache Kafka.\nExperience optimizing enterprise applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.\nFamiliarity with configuration-driven platforms and enterprise AI-assisted development tools, including Copilot.\nWe're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
