Responsibilities

• Administer complex Jira instances to ensure stable performance secure configurations and reliable access for distributed day teams working in a hybrid model while continuously refining platform usage patterns to align with organizational standards and compliance needs.
• Configure and optimize Jira boards for diverse product delivery squads to create clear visualization of work in progress prioritization queues and sprint health metrics thereby enabling efficient tracking of defects enhancements and operational tasks across functional domains.
• Implement and manage defect tracking processes in Jira to ensure consistent issue capture categorization assignment and resolution while integrating quality controls that reduce production incidents and improve customer satisfaction outcomes.
• Maintain advanced Jira administration activities including custom fields screens workflows permission schemes notifications and automation rules that support evolving project structures and complex reporting needs for senior stakeholders.
• Utilize Atlassian Intelligence AI features within Jira to streamline routine administrative tasks propose workflow improvements and surface intelligent insights that help teams optimize cycle times defect trends and backlog health indicators.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate extensive experience of at least ten years in Jira administration including configuration of workflows boards permission schemes and project templates with proven capability to manage large scale enterprise instances.
• Exhibit strong practical expertise in Atlassian Intelligence AI functionalities to design intelligent automations support recommendations and actionable insights that augment productivity and improve defect management outcomes.
• Show deep proficiency in defect tracking tools centered on Jira with ability to architect processes for issue categorization prioritization and root cause tracking that enhance quality assurance and production stability.
