The key goal is to assist the payroll team in ensuring the correct and timely payment of wages seizures and social security contributions while maintaining the quality and integrity of the process.\nKey Responsibilities\n· validation of new hire information salary health insurance working hours contract type etc\n· Review and control of payroll inputs absenteeism health insurance changes bank account updates etc\n· Support in responding to payroll related inquiries from internal clients and employees\n· Support payroll compliance with internal controls procedures and regulatory requirements\n· Assist in the validation of new hire and termination payments including final settlement calculations\n· Monitor the payroll mailbox and respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner\n· Support the leave and vacation process ensuring proper documentation and system updates\n· Other tasks not covered here may be required arising within the development of the project to which you are assigned or at the request or requirement of the client\nRequired Experience Skillsets\n· 2 years of experience in payroll administration or related functions\n· Intermediate English proficiency\n· Spanish proficiency\n· Intermediate to advanced Excel skills\n· Basic knowledge of local labor and payroll regulations\n· Strong attention to detail and analytical skills\n· Effective written and verbal communication skills\n· Good organizational and time management skills\nDesired Experience Skillsets\n· Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Human Resources or a related field\n· Experience with payroll HR systems PeopleSoft SAP Workday or similar\n· Experience with Osmos Payroll SAP Payroll or similar payroll platforms\n· Familiarity with PeopleSoft HCM\n· Experience supporting payroll processes in a multinational company\nWhy Cognizant?\nImprove your career in one of the largest and fastest growing IT services providers worldwide\nReceive ongoing support and funding with training and development plans\nHave a highly competitive benefits and salary package\nGet the opportunity to work for leading global companies\nWe are committed to respecting human rights and build a better future by helping your minds and the environment\nWe invest in people and their wellbeing. \nWe create conditions for everyone to thrive.
