You will be a valued member of the Data & Analytics team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, data architects, analysts, and engineering teams to develop modern cloud-based data platforms that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and decision-making.\nIn this role, you will:\nLead the design and implementation of Snowflake-based data solutions that transform raw data into trusted, business-ready information assets.\nDevelop and optimize ETL workflows that integrate data from multiple internal and external sources into Snowflake environments.\nConfigure and support Snowpipe-based ingestion processes to enable reliable batch and near real-time data integration.\nDesign and optimize Snowflake data models, schemas, and SQL workloads to support enterprise analytics and reporting requirements.\nDrive performance tuning, workload optimization, and capacity planning activities across Snowflake environments.\nImplement data quality controls, validation frameworks, and exception handling processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.\nCollaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into scalable data engineering solutions.\nTroubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and platform issues through root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.\nDevelop reusable engineering frameworks, coding standards, and best practices that improve delivery speed and solution quality.\nMentor team members and provide technical guidance on Snowflake, ETL development, data modeling, and engineering best practices.\nWork model\nWe believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.\nWhat you need to have to be considered\n8-12 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, ETL Development, or related disciplines.\nStrong hands-on experience with Snowflake, Snowflake SQL, and Snowpipe.\nProven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale ETL and data integration solutions.\nExpertise in Snowflake performance tuning, optimization, and workload management.\nExperience designing cloud-based data warehouses and modern analytics platforms.\nStrong SQL development and data modeling skills.\nExperience implementing data quality validation, reconciliation, and monitoring processes.\nProven ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate effectively across distributed teams.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nThese will help you stand out\nExperience within the Property & Casualty Insurance industry.\nKnowledge of underwriting, claims, policy administration, billing, or insurance analytics data domains.\nExperience supporting near real-time data ingestion and streaming architectures.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\nExperience establishing enterprise data engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and automation approaches.\nExperience supporting large-scale data modernization initiatives and cloud transformations.\nWe're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
