You will provide hands-on technical leadership across application development, APIs and microservices, cloud, database, integration, DevOps, testing, and quality engineering.\nCognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring Visa transfer or sponsorship now or at any time in the future.\nIn this role, you will:\nLead the end-to-end technical delivery of the platform, providing technical direction across frontend, backend, database, cloud, integration, DevOps, and testing.\nProvide hands-on technical leadership for.NET/C# applications, APIs, and microservices deployed in a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.\nPartner with business, product, and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with architecture and engineering best practices.\nLead and mentor distributed development and QA teams, providing technical guidance, resolving delivery challenges, and promoting strong engineering and quality practices.\nDrive effective Agile delivery through collaboration across onshore and offshore teams, supporting CI/CD, automated testing, Kubernetes-based deployments, and continuous improvement.\nWork model\nWe believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.\nWhat you need to have to be considered\n10+ years of Strong hands-on experience with .NET/C# application development, including backend services, REST APIs, and microservices, combined with technical leadership experience.\nDemonstrated experience delivering or supporting .NET applications in a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.\nExperience with modern web application technologies such as Angular or React and TypeScript, along with enterprise database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.\nExperience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, automated testing, integration, and modern DevOps/quality engineering practices.\nStrong communication and stakeholder-management skills with experience leading distributed onshore/offshore teams and delivering solutions in an Agile environment.\nThese will help you stand out\nExperience leading the end-to-end technical delivery of complex, enterprise-scale application modernization or redesign initiatives.\nStrong understanding of cloud-native application architecture and microservices within GCP.\nExperience driving application performance, scalability, database optimization, and engineering quality.\nAbility to provide hands-on technical guidance while also coordinating multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholders.\nProven ability to mentor developers and QA engineers and establish engineering best practices across globally distributed teams.\nNote: Certain roles may require candidates to attend in-person interviews at Cognizant offices or client locations, depending on project requirements.\nApplications will be accepted till September 30th 2026\nSalary and Other Compensation:\nThe annual salary for this position is between $81,337 to $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.\nThis position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.\nBenefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\n· Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance\n· Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off\n· 401(k) plan and contributions\n· Long-term/Short-term Disability\n· Paid Parental Leave\n· Employee Stock Purchase Plan\nDisclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
