Could you be the one to make a difference?\n\nAbout the job\nNetwork Security Engineer\nRole and Responsibilities:\n\nThe Network Security Engineer will be responsible for managing security platforms across multiple environments; technologies include Web Proxy, WAF, IPS, and Email Security Solutions.\nParticipate in rotation schedule to provide On-Call Support and perform Root Cause Analysis\nPerform time sensitive activities such as Block IoCs on managed tools\nExecute Change Requests within defined SLAs\nCollaborate with IT groups, Information Security teams, business units, vendors and client delivery teams for projects, integrations, deployments, remediation, and troubleshooting\nPlatform management including maintenance, policy reviews, health checks\nTroubleshoot block events, failed email delivery, failed network and application connectivity, false positives, exceptions, resource utilization and performance issues\nActive participation in maturing of core security controls\nMonitor, manage and tune core network security controls.\nDevelop, and deliver time sensitive security and compliance metrics and reports\nDevelop and maintain documentation such as Use Cases, Standard Operating Procedures, Job Aids, Knowledgebase Articles, User Guides, and Training Material\nMonitor multiple ticketing systems and take ownership of service requests end to end\nAdhere to Corporate Security Standards and Internal Processes and Procedures\nGather evidence for time sensitive Internal/External Audits and Assessments\n\nQualifications And Education Requirements\nMust possess a Strong Work Ethic, Sense of Urgency, Strong Initiative, and be a Self-Starter\n8-10 years of progressive experience in information technology and 4-5 years of progressive information security experience across 2 or more of the following technologies:Web Proxy\nEmail Security\nWAF\nIDS/IPS\n\nUnderstand how Web Proxy works, including whitelisting, URL Categorization, SSL Decryption, common ports, agent troubleshooting\nUnderstand how Email Delivery works and Email Security concepts, including encryption, common ports, DNS, SPF, DKIM, etc.\nUnderstand how WAF works and knowledge of Application Security concepts, including OWASP, Secure SDLF, Policy Enforcement, and Attack Signatures\nAbility to identify security risks and weaknesses and provide security mitigation and remediation recommendations\nExcellent technical aptitude, resourcefulness, critical thinking, troubleshooting skills and attention to detail\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nStrong understanding of security best practices and industry standards\nExperience building, configuring, tuning and deploying these solutions is preferred: IDS/IPS, Web Proxy, Email Security (MTAs), WAF\nExperience in large enterprise, working with global teams across multiple time zones, cultures and languages is preferred\nDeep understanding of Computing and Networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, WiFi, routing, subnetting, DNS, Client/Server communications, and PKI is preferred.\nKnowledge of HIPAA regulatory requirements and HITRUST is preferred\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred\nGIAC, CISSP, CISM, or other relevant information security industry recognized certifications preferred.\nFamiliarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and PCI preferred\nHealthcare experience preferred\nProject Management skills a plus\nExperience with Automation is
