You will customize and extend OTMM, build integrations with enterprise systems, and ensure the platform delivers a reliable experience for content creators, marketers, and business users.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain customizations and extensions for OTMM using Java and J2EE technologies.\nBuild and enhance OTMM components such as metadata models, asset workflows, security policies, folder structures, and business rules.\nDevelop integrations between OTMM and other systems (e.g., PIM, CMS, Adobe Creative Cloud, Content Server, Salesforce, SAP) using REST/SOAP APIs and OTMM web services.\nCustomize the OTMM UI (OTMM Web/ARC) and develop custom plugins, event handlers, and import/export processes.\nConfigure and optimize asset ingestion, transformation, rendition generation, and bulk import/export processes.\nTroubleshoot and resolve defects and performance issues across the OTMM application, database, and search layers.\nParticipate in the full SDLC: requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, code reviews, deployment, and production support.\nSupport upgrades, patches, and migrations of OTMM environments.\nCollaborate with business analysts, DAM administrators, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.\nDocument technical designs, configurations, and integration specifications.\nFollow coding standards, security best practices, and version control processes.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n6+ years of strong Java/J2EE development experience.\n2+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText Media Management (OTMM).\nSolid understanding of OTMM architecture, including metadata, security policies, workflows (Process Designer), and the Media Management APIs.\nExperience developing and consuming RESTful and SOAP web services.\nProficiency with Spring, Hibernate/JPA, XML, JSON, and JavaScript.\nStrong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL) and SQL.\nExperience with application servers such as Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, or JBoss.\nFamiliarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with OTMM integration with Adobe Creative Cloud or other creative tools.\nKnowledge of OpenText Directory Services (OTDS) and SSO/SAML/OAuth configuration.\nExperience with Elasticsearch/Solr, FFmpeg, ImageMagick, or media transcoding tools.\nFamiliarity with front-end frameworks (Angular, React) for UI customization.\nExposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and Linux/Unix environments.\nOpenText certifications are a plus.\nUnderstanding of DAM best practices, taxonomy, and metadata governance.\nSoft Skills\nClear written and verbal communication.\nAbility to work independently and in
