The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring platform stability, operational excellence, infrastructure governance, and supporting ongoing modernization initiatives across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.\nThis role requires a strong combination of infrastructure operations, incident management, vendor coordination, technical governance, and project delivery experience. Prior experience working in a Singapore Government or Public Sector environment is mandatory.\nKey Responsibilities\nInfrastructure & Platform Operations\nOversee day-to-day operational support and maintenance of critical infrastructure platforms across on-premises and hybrid environments.\nProvide technical oversight for compute, virtualization, operating systems, storage, backup, disaster recovery (DR), and high-availability (HA) platforms.\nLead investigation and resolution of complex incidents, including root cause analysis and recovery planning.\nMonitor platform health, performance, availability, and operational readiness.\nVendor & Service Management\nCoordinate with vendors and support teams to ensure operational tasks, incidents, service requests, and deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.\nManage escalations and drive issue resolution across multiple stakeholders.\nReview service requests, technical implementations, and operational procedures to ensure quality and supportability.\nTechnical & Security Governance\nSupport infrastructure governance activities, including change reviews, risk assessments, compliance alignment, and operational readiness reviews.\nEnsure infrastructure operations comply with organizational security and architectural standards.\nReview implementation and rollback plans for infrastructure changes.\nInfrastructure Refresh & Modernization\nSupport infrastructure transformation and technology refresh initiatives while maintaining stable day-to-day operations.\nCoordinate infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and modernization activities across internal teams and vendors.\nTrack project risks, dependencies, action items, and milestones to ensure successful delivery.\nStakeholder Management\nCollaborate with application, network, cloud, and security teams to resolve platform-related issues.\nMaintain operational documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and governance artefacts.\nProvide regular status updates to project teams, management, and stakeholders.\nMandatory Requirements\nMinimum 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Operations, Platform Operations, or Systems Engineering.\nMinimum 2 years of experience working in Singapore Government, Statutory Board, Public Sector, or Government-linked environments.\nExperience supporting production or mission-critical environments.\nStrong understanding of infrastructure operations, including:Virtualization\nOperating Systems\nStorage\nBackup & Recovery\nNetworking\nHigh Availability & Disaster Recovery\n\nExperience managing vendors and outsourced support teams.\nHands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure issues.\nExperience supporting technical governance, change management, or approval processes.\nExperience coordinating technical projects, tracking risks, issues, and dependencies.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nTechnical Skills\nRequired\nVMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, or similar virtualization platforms\nRed Hat Linux and/or Windows Server administration\nEnterprise storage and backup solutions\nMonitoring, logging, observability, and alerting platforms\nNetworking fundamentals:TCP/IP\nDNS\nRouting\nFirewalls\nLoad Balancers\nNetwork Segmentation\n\nHybrid cloud environments (Azure and/or
