You will be a valued member of the technology delivery team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, scientists, quality teams, database administrators, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity professionals, and DevOps teams to deliver innovative digital solutions.\nIn this role, you will:\nLead the design, development, modernization, and support of enterprise Oracle APEX applications and related Oracle technologies.\nDrive technical leadership by establishing solution standards, reusable frameworks, engineering best practices, and code quality controls. \nDesign and optimize Oracle Database solutions using SQL and PL/SQL while ensuring performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability. \nLead integration initiatives using ORDS, REST APIs, and enterprise platforms to support critical business processes. \nCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business and scientific requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nOversee application security, performance tuning, release management, modernization programs, and production support activities.\nConduct architecture reviews, code reviews, technical risk assessments, and deployment readiness activities. \nMentor developers and technical teams while supporting project planning, estimations, and successful delivery execution. \nWork model\nWe strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. [Global Job...oilerplate | Word]\nWhat you need to have to be considered\n15+ years of overall IT, software engineering, or enterprise application development experience.\nExtensive hands-on experience developing and supporting Oracle APEX applications in enterprise environments.\nAdvanced expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including performance tuning, database programming, and troubleshooting. \nStrong knowledge of Oracle Database architecture, security, indexing, data modeling, transactions, and optimization.\nExperience designing and supporting RESTful integrations using ORDS, APIs, JSON, and enterprise integration patterns.\nStrong understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure development practices.\nExperience with CI/CD processes, source control management, release management, and deployment automation. \nProven experience leading technical teams, managing complex projects, and collaborating with senior business and technology stakeholders. \nStrong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.\nThese will help you stand out\nExperience within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, CRO, or other regulated healthcare environments.\nKnowledge of GxP, Computer System Validation (CSV), data integrity principles, change management, CAPA, and audit readiness practices. \nExperience supporting laboratory, quality, manufacturing, clinical, regulatory, or R&D business applications.
