You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Consulting team, partnering with client stakeholders, delivery teams, architects, and operations leaders to ensure stable, scalable, and high-performing solutions that support critical healthcare business functions.\nIn this role, you will:\nLead end-to-end technical delivery for QNXT consulting, implementation, enhancement, and support engagements.\nProvide technical leadership across QNXT Claims, Benefits Configuration, Workflow Engine (WFE), Batch Processing, Interfaces, and Integrations.\nDrive root cause analysis and resolution of complex production issues impacting claims processing, membership, provider, and benefit operations.\nOversee release management, environment governance, technical change management, and production support activities.\nPartner with client business and IT teams to design scalable solutions that align with operational and strategic objectives.\nLead, mentor, and develop technical consultants while promoting QNXT best practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement.\nManage technical risks, dependencies, and compliance requirements to ensure successful project delivery.\nWork model\nWe strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance through our various wellbeing programs.\nWhat you need to have to be considered\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.\n8+ years of healthcare payer technology, consulting, implementation, or production support experience.\n5+ years of hands-on QNXT technical experience supporting healthcare payer operations.\nStrong expertise with QNXT Claims Processing, Benefits Configuration, Workflow Engine (WFE), Batch Processing, and System Integrations.\nExperience supporting HIPAA EDI transactions including 837, 834, 820, and 27X transaction sets.\nAdvanced SQL and database analysis skills with experience troubleshooting complex production issues.\nDeep understanding of QNXT Schema, architecture, data structures, and system dependencies.\nProven experience leading technical teams and managing client-facing consulting engagements.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.\nThese will help you stand out\nQNXT Conversion, Migration, or Modernization experience.\nExperience supporting large-scale QNXT production environments.\nKnowledge of Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, Duals, and ACA Exchange products.\nExperience with healthcare payer operations including Claims, Membership, Benefits, and Provider Management.\nFamiliarity with release management, DevOps practices, and cloud-hosted environments.\nExperience leading offshore and distributed delivery teams.\nKnowledge of healthcare compliance, regulatory requirements, and audit controls.\nSalary and Other Compensation:\nApplicants will be accepted till 10/25/2026\nCognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.\n*Please note, this role cannot offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future*\nThe annual salary for this position will be in the range of $113,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.\nThis position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.\nBenefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:\nMedical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance\nPaid holidays plus Paid Time Off\n401(k) plan and contributions\nLong-term/Short-term Disability\nPaid Parental Leave\nEmployee Stock Purchase Plan\nDisclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
