The role requires strong hands-on expertise in the Quantexa platform, data engineering, and complex data integration, preferably within banking or financial services.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, configure, develop, and deploy Quantexa solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.\nBuild and optimize entity resolution, data ingestion, scoring, network generation, and analytics pipelines.\nDevelop data models and integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple source systems.\nConfigure Quantexa Decision Intelligence components, including entities, documents, networks, strategies, and scoring models.\nDevelop scalable data-processing solutions using Scala, Spark, and related big data technologies.\nPerform data profiling, cleansing, matching, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis to improve data quality.\nCollaborate with business analysts, architects, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate use cases into technical solutions.\nTroubleshoot performance and functional issues across development, test, and production environments.\nImplement automated testing, code reviews, version control, CI/CD, and deployment best practices.\nPrepare technical designs, configuration documents, operational guides, and knowledge-transfer materials.\nRequired Skills:\n6-10 years of overall experience in software engineering, data engineering, or analytics solution development.\nStrong hands-on experience implementing solutions on the Quantexa platform.\nProficiency in Scala, Apache Spark, and distributed data-processing concepts.\nStrong SQL skills with experience handling large and complex datasets.\nExperience with entity resolution, record linkage, data matching, network analytics, and graph-based analysis.\nGood understanding of data modelling, data quality, ETL/ELT, and data integration patterns.\nExperience with Git, build tools, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery practices.\nStrong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nQuantexa Certified Developer or equivalent platform training.\nExperience delivering solutions for financial crime, fraud detection, anti-money laundering, customer intelligence, risk, or compliance use cases.\nBanking or financial services domain experience.\nExposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and to containerized deployment environments.\nKnowledge of Elasticsearch, graph concepts, and enterprise data security controls.\nBenefits:\nJoining Cognizant will give you the opportunity to learn and collaborate with some of the most talented people in the industry, while having your finger on the pulse of emerging industry trends and working on the cutting edge of technology in your field of expertise.\nWe recognize that our people perform at their best when they feel valued as significant contributors and that is why at Cognizant, taking care of our employees is a priority:\n· You can pursue innovative career tracks and opportunities here\n· You can enhance your professional development through education and dedicated training\n· We’ll give you the skills you need to keep pace with the changing workplace while our compensation, benefits and wellness packages help you stay healthy and plan for the future.\nNext Steps:\nPlease reach out to our friendly and welcoming team today to apply and register your interest in this full-time role.
